Baking... in miniature!

I just spent the last 2 1/2 hours making miniature cinnamon rolls...  Took me way too long, my hand was shaking, and I just couldn't get into my usual groove.

I think I am just plain stressed out!  Usually making minis calms me, but one of my sisters is having some fairly serious surgery tomorrow and, oh well, I guess I'm freaking a bit!  She will be fine; just some high spinal fusion (from which she should recover nicely),  but still...  Ah, the worry-wart in me strikes again...

Ha!  Couldn't even make pecans right!  TIP:  If you are making teeeeeensy-tiny things out of polymer clay, do NOT bake them for more than a few seconds!  I thought 3 minutes would be about right - WRONG! They turned into shiny, oval blobs - no detail left whatsoever.  Lesson learned.

All's well that ends well, I guess.  I got mad and chopped them up into even smaller pieces; I pretended that they were "chopped" pecans, lol!  Worked like a charm!  I placed five of my prettiest cinnamon rolls on a white platter, iced them and added some pecan pieces.  Yummy!!!  I am a true believer that the devil is in the details!!!
