I'm taking a short break from clay.  I got all my pix up on Etsy, which was no small task!  I am tickled pink that my shop and several items have been 'favorited'!!!  Alas, no sales yet....  In time, I hope!

I am trying something new...  I recently saw a tute on Icklebits on how to make miniature paper petunias.  It looks simple enough, so I am giving it a go.  So far, my little flowers are drying in a block of foam - so cute!!!  I have also been experimenting with making other flowers.  I like the flowers I made using a star shaped punch...  I used a pretty, pale blue paper, white gel pen lines and dots, with yellow dot centers. They are larger than the petunias, but are turning out well.  For the leaves, I took a deep green paper and 'washed' it with varying shades of green watercolors.  Using a rose leaf shaped punch, and then embossing the heck out of the cutouts, I have produced some fairly nice leaves!!!  In fact, my hand hurts from using the embossing tool to shape them!  Ah well at least I can use my hand again, soooo grateful for that!

Will post some pix if they turn out well.  If they don't, oh well....  I am having fun anyway, yaay!
